Hamsters strike back

Everyone always laughs at my hamster examples. I never do, in fact, I'm always incredibly impressed at their versatility. Here's the latest use for these little cannibalistic rodents -- certainly innovative, but not enough to make it into PESO.

Will it fly?

"What kind of technology and innovation is eligible to be entered in PESO?"

The PESO team spent a lot of time constructing a technology and innovation matrix to answer that very question. It's summarized in the attached PDF file. Download peso innovation_matrix.pdf

Here are a few more concrete examples.

Cool innovations that would definitely NOT qualify for PESO

  1. Intelligent MIDI sequencing with Hamster Control : No one believed me when I told them about it at the Idea Generation & Evaluation Tech Workshop!

  2. The Solar Death Ray : Feel the power of 112 suns! My particular favorite was when they torched the Easter Bunny!
  3. Cheap to Great Vodka Filtration Kit : My friends and I actually tried this and it works. Honestly, we did it in the name of science.

Cool innovations that would qualify for PESO

  1. Palm Vein Biometric Security : Very James Bond! In the future my mini-fridge/personal pantry will have biometric security. No one can have my chocolate chip cookies, I tell you!

  2. DX1 Customized Keyboard for PC Gamers : This is a God send for hard core gamers like me. I would pay good money for this!

  3. Zombie Dog Technology : I don't know about the rest of you, but I plan to live for as long as possible.

I'm not too sure if this Beijing clinic would qualify under the definition for "medium business innovation".

Let's see what the rest of the PESO team thinks...
